David Grenland is a professional photographer whose work has been described as breathtaking, captivating, and stunning by clients and viewers around the world. Born and raised in a small coastal town in Washington state, David has been passionate about photography since a very young age. At just 17, he launched his career as a freelance community and sports photographer for the Chinook Observer, his hometown newspaper.
David attended college at Clover Park Vocational Institute in Tacoma, Washington, where he earned his photography accreditation in 1988. After marrying his wife, Leisa, in 1990, the two began a life of travel and exploration. His camera has since taken him across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and most recently, the Philippines — always in pursuit of capturing the world’s beauty through his lens.
David’s work spans portrait, sports, special events, and travel/landscape photography and has been featured in major magazines and newspaper publications. In addition to these accolades, David’s fine art photography has been exhibited domestically and internationally, including at the 6X6 Centre for Photography in Limassol, Cyprus, Valid World Hall in Barcelona, Spain, and the Bridgeport Art Center in Chicago, Illinois, where he was honored as the Black and White Photographer of the Year 2024.
